Still slowly making my way through replaying BioShock Infinite. I don’t know whether it’s the fact that I’m playing on Easy or the fact that I know how long each area is now, but I’m getting what I like to call the “Ravenholm” effect here, a term I coined for personal usage after being surprised how short Ravenholm in HL2 is once you know where to go, compared to how long and horrifyingly intimidating it is first time. Hall of Heroes for example I remember dragging on but it really wasn’t that long at all this time.
ALSO I figured why not get an achievement or two, and as such have been putting all my Upgrades into Salt Capacity to get the one for fully upgrading a particular thing.
If you ever decide to play again DO THIS like holy shit. The combat is like twice as fun when you’re not rationing your vigors all the time.
Tagging this as non-spoiler to give the advice to first time players too. Like depending on difficulty you’ll want to put some into Health and Shield too but focus on Salts for sure if you want fun gameplay.
Halfway through a 13 panel page. Time for more coffee.
Ugh it feels like the less internet I do the more productive things I get done. Seriously considering going on a mini unfollow sesh to downsize the amount of time I spend on tumblr in the morning because right now it takes like half-an-hour to an hour to go through my whole dash, which I… insist on doing because otherwise I would most likely miss worthwhile content from creative/art blogs etc that only tend to update once a day or less.
Fucking hell you fall asleep early and get 10 hours sleep and Tumblr has 64 pages of dashboard for you to scroll through when you get up.
Still haven’t made my mind up on how I will handle the tumblr situation when I go away for 5 days on friday.
Oh boy another dream where Audi is online and I’m just casually chatting to her like nothing ever happened.
It was really awkward though as if she was in a bad mood or hiding something. And in my dreams I have actually become savvy enough and know that if I ask her why she pretended to kill herself or why she is alive again now she always just goes offline.
Ah well, that’ll put me in a just dandy mood.
oh okay they’re ringing someone about buying theatre tickets
hurry the hell up >8U
Customers who come in and just sit down for no reason when there are no films on for a couple of hours, giving me no idea what they’re even here for or how long they’ll be
Do they not know I am a MAYOR and have a TOWN to run
Haha, funny though, now I’m on a high-end machine I prolly won’t be able to report to mapmakers about bad performance/optimisation like I used to. D= Can’t remember what maps used to give me trouble in that regard now. None that I enjoyed playing frequently anyway.
I was just looking at Dead Rising 3 and thinking “it’s no big loss, but if the opportunity to play it arose, I would like to. I imagine my bro might get a One eventually for Halo or whatever so if I ever visited him I could always rent it for the weekend to play.”
“Oh, wait.”
Replaying Infinite since it looks so much nicer on my new comp.
Hasn’t become anymore fun. Just button-mashing my way through the endless shooter sections on Easy mode so I can enjoy all the scripted story bits which are basically the only parts of the game I seriously enjoyed.
